Stupid question for amiga audio guys?
« on: October 05, 2011, 08:13:25 PM »
I need to swap stereo channels of a drum loop. I am sure I have seen this on some audio editor but I can't remember which. Willing to do in windows or whatever then I can copy it back to my amiga.

Essentially, the drumloop has a tribal tom roll fill at the end that goes left to right in panning. I want to swap the stereo channels and so it alternates back and forth between panning left to right to panning right to left.

Maybe not on topic, but I was pretty sure some of the amiga audio guys here could help me. Thanks!

Steven

Sorry if that's not what you're after, but couldn't you just copy/cut/paste that part in any sound editor? ie copy the part you need from left channel to a new buffer the same with the right channel then paste them on the opposite destinations.

I'd make the sample mono then use OctaMED Soundstudio to pan it on the fly.
