too many mentally deranged types have taken over this site and I'm tired of it. I guess it's time to stop using Amiga.org and go elsewhere.

hehe oh come on, its not that bad. just read what you find interesting and skip the rest. its still holiday time for a lot of people, things will change when winter comes and everyone starts spending more time behind their machines. its not much better on other sites, tbh..

edit: no wait, it IS better on certain other sites, but 'technical' topics -only can get boring, too, after some time.

@rvo nl

Yeah, I admit that it does get boring on other sites that have more technical leanings.  I also must admit that even though I rant about Franko at times, I still find him very entertaining.

Quick, somebody grab 'em! Then you can spend the next decade whoring it out to anybody who wants to milk some cash out of the True Faithful!

...or you could register it to prevent that from happening, but that's just crazy talk.

Heh. Besides that they changed the name twice since then, once since the new CEO was put in place.
Asiarim/Commodore Holdings Corporation/The Commodore Corporation. They also moved corporate to Nevada.

Its really sad to see how more and more "new products" are arriving with just Commodore and/or Amiga names. Its either verry popular rebranding scheme, or completely gray area where everyone can do what they want, and present itself exclusive.

About the "evil and mentally deranged": in some sense both is true, but such development is annoying for people that used to love and support development of something for about two decades. Maybe proper words are "exploit" and "annoying"
