Hey, anyone from Zagreb, Croatia here? I'm looking for a free bed or sofa for a friend of mine who's coming to Zagreb the 24th till 29th of this month, sept. 2011. She's from California and have no big demands, just need a safe place to sleep and keep her stuff while she's on a conference during the day. Amiga people can be trusted, right?

Yeah well, I'm not in Zagreb
Looks like couchsurfing.org will be the answer here, haven't got much respons even from people I do know there, sigh.

Mind you, couchsurfing isn't just a free bed provider. A big part of the philosophy behind it is bringing people closer together and create understanding between cultures. I.e. hippies .

If you create a bare bones profile today and start asking for hosters tomorrow, you're probably not going to get a lot of response..

Odin: know that, profile's not new, and hippie is a description that fits her just fine, but it doesn't hurt to check out other channels than just the couch surfing site.
