G-Rex users - small request.
« on: August 07, 2011, 03:19:03 PM »
Hi. G-Rex users, I have small request. Could you do a simple test for me?

You will need a serial (RS-232C) cable and some other computer to receive the data. There should be some PCI card inserted into first slot of G-Rex (working well under AmigaOS).

Instructions:
- connect the Amiga to some other computer using the serial cable, and open terminal program to receive the data (settings 9600 8N1)
- download these two files to your Amiga:
loadbsd
netbsd
- cd to the directory where you downloaded files and start the NetBSD kernel using following command:
loadbsd -Sn netbsd

There's a possiblity that you will need to specify the full path instead to the kernel, instead of just "netbsd".

Please PM me everything you get through the serial cable. Alternatively you can send it by e-mail to: rkujawa at netbsd dot org .
