Commodore Computer Club UK

www.commodorecomputerclub.co.uk

Found these guys recently, and the club was only set up a few months ago. :-)

The club was set up by Shaun Bebbington who writes the retro articles feature in Micro Mart magazine, Allan Bairstow who used to write Commodore Scene magazine and Nigel Parker who writes Commodore Free magazine.

The club is more focused on the 8-bit Commodore machines, but does also cover the Amiga.

Nothing about Amiga on their homepage:

"Welcome to the home of the Commodore Computer Club (UK). We have set up to support all popular Commodore 8-bit computers, from the Commodore (CBM) PET range, through to the C128, so if you have a C64, VIC-20, C16, Plus/4 or even a C64DTV, and would like to know more about the club, please read the club FAQs or visit our forums if you have any further questions."

@ tonyyeb

I read in the forum somewhere that they do cover the Amiga but don't have enough Amiga users as members

Regardless though it is an interesting club all the same.  :-)

Just posted to see if we are welcome. I will join if it has more Amiga users joining too.

I found the following info regarding Amiga support in their FAQ:

Do you support Amiga?
At the moment, we are only able to support Commodore 8-bits because we don't have members who have enough knowledge about Amiga range to adequately support that platform.

Also, they will be at the Midlands Amiga Group show/meet on Saturday 1st November 2008 in Coventry.
