WANTED: CD32 Power Supply
« on: November 23, 2010, 01:03:36 AM »
Need to get one as my last one went on fire!!!  (about 10 years ago)

Did hack an a1200 PSU to work but it has also failed on me.  At least it didnt go on fire.

Anybody else ever have an Amiga PSU catch fire?

And does anyone have a CD32 Power supply going spare?

Thanks folks!!  :)

I watched for almost a year for a CD32 power supply and never saw a single one for sale (I still haven't).  I ended up buying one of the adapters from Amigakit and it works fine.  It allowed me to use a heavy duty power supply which may be what you need if you keep destroying the ones you have.

I was hoping someone would donate one out of the goodness of their heart, as my dole money has just been reduced to 80 quid a fortnight  :)

Ah well it was definitely worth a try!!
