Found an 060 ;-)
« on: June 07, 2011, 07:22:50 PM »
W00t, a friend gave me some old telco boards to recycle, and on one of them I noticed a 68LC060RC50.  Is this Amiga-compatible?  Worth anything to anyone?  Obviously I'm going to save it, regardless, but don't have any actual use for it (no longer own any Amiga's, they're scarcer than hen's teeth in my area).  Ironically, this is the very first 68060 I've ever seen IRL.

If anyone is interested, feel free to PM me an offer.  Obviously I have no idea if it's working, etc.

Thanks!

Yes it could work but only on the Apollo 1260 with special libs of the 75 MHz NO FPU version of the board (has to have a MMU though). I think PerGunnar Johasson has those special libs.
10 Classic Amiga Computers so far: I have too many computers!!

It may be a full 060.

I had an EC (the even crapper version) and it was a fully working 060.

@Oldsmobile_Mike: do you have found this card on a Nokia or Motorola equipment?

I'm wondering what the cards are myself...
