«

I noticed that there are several version #'s of Amiga 2000 motherboards. Which on is the best and which one gives the most problems? Thanks.

From memory I used to have a 6.3 and that worked very well and was one of the most compatible.

6.3 nearly impossible to find so 6.2 is the best. (most bugfixed and when upgrading no motherboard work required : i.e. cutting traces and soldering)

Thanks for the advise. I just got three motherboard lately. They are versions 6.0, 6.2 and 6.3. In addition, I am currently using a 6.3 motherboard. I see that the 6.3 motherboard is a different color (brown instead of green).

Stay away from the Rev. 4.3 motherboard it was manufactured with a faulty ground trace.
I've seen a few units where the Trace burned and lifted off the motherboard.
Rev. 4.4 fixed the problem.

There was no Rev 5 PCB , at least not in North America. The next Rev after 4.4 was 6.0.
