amiga 4000 display showing pink

Does anyone know what is causing my amiga4000 rev b to display pink in workbench other colours are ok just showing too much pink?.

Not sure how much you have done already to drill down, but make sure it is not your cable or monitor :-) If all that is ok you need to ask you self when the problem occured. Did it happen all the sudden when using it or maybe after moving it ? If it's mechanical, it might be an easy fix. If not, it might prove more tricky in case you need to replace some parts.

You should take a picture and put it in a lads mag if it's showing pink

Yep, that sounds like the green signal is missing from the monitor cable - just leaving red and blue will give you a magenta cast to everything. First thing is the cable, make sure no pins are bent. What sort of monitor is it? Does it have a connector at the monitor end as well which might be loose or damaged? Have you any other monitor you can try?

have a look at item number 280663716382 on ebay so u can see for yourself its doing the same thing has mine i think it is my monitor lead.
