I have this CPU I removed from a working telecom call processing board. I bought the board for the nice 060 heatsink I put on my MK2 that's currently for sale.
I was hoping to get a spare 060 out of the board as well, but unfortunately it was soldered directly to the board. I used a hot air rework station to delicately remove it from the board, but there is still solder on most of the pins. I spent a few minutes with copper braid and a soldering iron and was able to clean up half a dozen pins really nicely. I think if someone were to spend an hour or two doing the same, the pins would turn out perfectly fine to use in a socket again. Or it could be soldered back into a 1200 accelerator.
It's an LC chip, which means no FPU, but from what I understand most LC chips usually do have FPUs, they're just not qualified at the given clock speed or sometimes just labeled as such due to market demand.
This is mask 75G59Y.
I'm not willing to test this in my MK2, but if someone want's a spare 060 that should work fine if they're willing to spend a little time cleaning up the pins this may be the chip for them. I'll have to sell this "as-is".
$25 + shipping sound fair?
