Any fans of Roketz?
« on: March 12, 2011, 02:03:17 AM »
I came across this gem on YouTube. A programmer down-under appears to be working on a next-gen version of Roketz! Not amiga-related, but I was a huge fan of the game on my A1200 and this got me excited.

I remember playing Roketz. It was pretty fun, and quite polished too.

Atmosphere seems to match the original Roketz which was a great game.
I met some of the developers of the Roketz back in 1996 or so. At least one of them was a fan of Hired Guns, you can see the influences of Hired Guns in Roketz too (level intro screens and music) I quess.
