SAM460 complete system: $3197 USD WTF?

So this French company Relec makes complete SAM systems. I figured I'd check their price for a SAM460, because I like to be a price conscious consumer. Going here:

...I see the PCB for CHF 1150, and the the REDONE X 1GB bundle for CHF 1550. I add this selection to my cart (both are required, not separate items), and in my cart the total is CHF 3100. Not sure why it was 3100 instead of 2700, but maybe addition works differently in France.

Is it just me or does this seem a little steep?

Last I looked, Amigakit wanted $1k for their mobo/4.1 combo.

Maybe something is wrong with their site. I don't see those prices, here's what I see:

That's a lot of money for a case, RAM, HD, DVD! But another 1GB is only 20CHF more! Whatever a CHF is... Ah, there's a US dollar setting.

$1,194 for the motherboard.
$1,609 for the case, etc.

Base price is $1609 for the case,hd,dvd,ram etc. add another $1193.79 for the motherboard

yeah, i made the same mistake when i saw this a few days ago.  it's CHF1150 for the SAM board and OS4.1 by itself or CHF1550 for the board, the case, RAM, a hard disk, a DVD drive, and OS4.  so just the board is the first option and a complete system is the second.

they have a problem with their website where when you click add-to-cart it adds both options, which is a mistake.

I think  the bundle contains the mobo, case, ram and drives.  Still way overpriced at 1550CHF when you can order a full AresOne 2011 system at vesalia.de for 244.90 EUR or get a Powermac (or Mac mini or eMac) from ebay for 50-200 EUR...

But that´s comparing apples to oranges. Speaking of Apples: Its rather hard to get a Mac for under 200 EUR where I live!

• RAM 1GB=CHF 40.-
• RAM 2GB=CHF 60.-
• Config' THEREDONE X&OS&1GB= CHF1550.- (opt.2GB + CHF20.-)
