Goes with the RTG card. I got a BVision and a 1600x1200@75Hz capable 19" CRT at the same time. That was an expensive weekend, I can tell you :lol:

yes have to agree with everone really amiga and graphics card is really cool
everthing works just that much better was diffcult going from that to standred 1200
with no graphics card . if you can get bvsion go for it .
you might go for sam 460 board it should hold it value and sell that when x1000 comes out
or just wait till early next year.

Don't be too sold on the BVision. It's a nice productivity card, but if you want to play 3D games, I found the Mediator/Voodoo3 a much better combination performance-wise.

The biggest "How did I ever live without them" upgrades I had were, in rough chronological order:

Hard disk
Accelerator card
RTG card
Network card

After buying my original A2000, I think mine went along the lines of:

2nd floppy drive (after suffering "diskswapper's wrist")
Hard Drive (after still suffering from "diskswapper's wrist")
Flicker Fixer and extra 2MB RAM (to get the Hi-Res Sim Ant running).

Bvision will never match voodoo3 but the gap has closed and playing 3d games 800x600 is almost smooth but is super smooth in some areas (depending on which 3D game).

all 3D games is more than playble on my system 800x600 with another increase in performace on its way.

the Mediator has 33/66Mhz PCI bus,but the advantage over Blizzard PPC card has closed with my Blizzard having 38.5Mhz PCI but is know to work @43Mhz with a few problems when using OS3.9.

perhaps a new graphics card for the Blizzard PPC may solve all 3D problems as you can see the PCI bus is fast enough.

I have an Amiga 1200 with a Mediator SX board, but I also have a Apollo 1240 card instead of a Blizzard PPC, so what I write here might not be entirely relevant to your setup.

I put an Amiga 1200 with Blizzard 1260 inside a tower with a Mediator 1200 LT4.  The full specs are at

The best GFX card that will work with the mediator seems currently to be the Radeon 9200 type of cards...

I have the Radeon 9250 PCI inside the tower, and it works like a charm!  I'm very happy with it.
