Amikit icons on Real Amiga
« on: November 07, 2010, 10:53:53 PM »
Hi:
I've made the Amikit conversion to a real Amiga, but without graphic card. I have lots of things from there, but I would like to have the icons too. The ones of Amikit are Ken's 24-bits icons, but although I have installed (really it already comes with Amikit) PowerIcons, I can't see them, so I have installed Kent Icons 2.3 that look nice, but I would like to change some of them with the ones of Amikit.
I've tried with copyicon, Iconian, even with im-1.2, but I can't create or see them in my amiga.
There must be a way from Amikit on WinUAE or on my amiga (I have some images as iff) to create the icons, can you tell me please?
Thanks in advance :)

I think its to do with the them being png dual icons and they cannot be displayed without a graphics card and afaos or powericons. I dont know if there is any way around it if you want to get the proper amikit look without a graphics card.

I know I can't see them without graphic card, but there must be a way to convert them to normal ones. Perhaps with a paint program?
Or any other icon converter?

An Amikit 1.2.9 or before program has to have normal icons, as they were introduced in 1.3.0, but I can't find it anywhere.
