COCOLINO compatibility
« on: November 02, 2010, 04:03:29 AM »
I just noticed that this mouse adapter isn't listed as working with the A1000. Does any one know why? I don't have schematics around any more...
A2000 GVP 40MHz \'030, 21Mb RAM SD/FF, 2 floppies, internal CD-ROM drive, micromys v3 w/laser mouse
A1000 Microbotics Starboard II w/2Mb 1080, & external floppy (AIRdrive)
C-128 w/1571, 1750, & Final Cartridge III+

I use several of the Cocolino adapters and they're by far the best for the Amiga, I've never tested one on the A1000 but I don't see why they wouldn't work as the main driver software is contained in a PIC chip on the device itself. :)

The only problem you may have with the A1000 is the Cocolino.driver prog that gets run during the startup-sequence but this driver is really just for scroll wheel compatibility... :)
