Help Make WinUAE read an Amiga Hard Drive
« on: October 27, 2010, 09:29:11 AM »
Hi,
Could anyone tell me how to make WinUAE read a SCSI 2 drive, out of an A2000, now in a PC running windows XP?
IT gets recognised in the WinUAE startup menu, but when workbench boots I can't find it

Run WinUAE as administrator, load your favourite Workbench config, go to Hard Drives page, click on Add Hard Drive, select your SCSI HDD, check read/write and click on Add, then click on Start.

If Workbench does not recognise the HDD, then it's probably not compatible to the Commodore RDB / RDSK standard.  You could still mount the partitions if you create a mount list for each partition.
