Hello everyone, I am a C64 guy but i own a few amigas, hardrives and such and recently i been trying to backup stuff and play with an amiga 500 Cnet 1.7 bbs and get it up and running again. I pretty much have it ready but i cant figure out how to set up the pfiles so i can put online games on it and get it all running. I am not the most familiar with Cnet really but it is a bbs and softwarer i ran on the amiga up till 1992. and i like the Cnet 128 sorta look so i want to put up this old possibly oldest version online. With online games since i have like 15 of em on a couple floppies that went to this bbs but never had the drive space till 20 years later. hehehehe So if anyone might have a manual or can help me out in some way to help me finish this final task of my Cnet before i put it online. just for now it is in testing stage and i still need a null modem cable, i have to rob one from my other C64 bbs to test it online but its all working...
I want to just start with getting one online game Empire 1.3 working to figure it out and i should be auto pilot after that...
Thanks everyone!

hi good luck with the bbs first of all with pfiles l ran cnet 3.05c which is avaible on the aminet and ran cnet 4 after this
with these bbs versions you just make assign pfiles: cnet:pfiles/ or where ever you want it
then make directory in your cnet program al then selct from list options pfile or door
then go into that directory and use ao adpot command to find that file.
so for me l put my door games in cnet:doors/doors2 and then assigned pfiles: cnet:doors/doors2/ in my userstart-up in s directory on the amiga boot partion
so for expample l have door called wheel fortune made dir in doors2 called wof
so l go into my cnet bbs software log in go to my pfiles area type ao
then asks l make sure full path is doors/doors2/wof/ then from there l find the file you run in this case called wofortune.loader press enter then select its arexx file type
or dos what ever file is and load on the menu so people can see it
spitfire at reign of fire
