Perth, WA Amiga users get-together!
« on: December 20, 2004, 04:12:24 AM »
Hi All!

After a long hiatus, we are getting some Amiga users in Perth back to some sort of regular meetings.  The first meeting will be at my house in Murdoch, with a bbq and informal chat.  Here are the details:

Date: Sunday, 23rd January 2005 2pm
Where: Murdoch, Perth (email me for address)
RVSP: When you can!

We have about 6 people coming so far.  If anyone in Perth has an AmigaOne, please contact me!  We would love to show one off!  Otherwise, my A2000 or CD32 will be setup for Speedball games, Clockmeister is bring a rare SX32 C64, and I have wireless ADSL for those with laptops.

Email me at lavo@mac.com for more details.

We now have an AmigaOne with OS4 for the meeting.

And that should have been SX64.  Otherwise that is one mighty Commodore 64 running AmigaOS3.1 and AGA ;-)

Yo.

I have just googled "amiga" and "perth" and this thread was 2nd on the list. I thought I would reply here to see if anything Amiga has ever happened in Perth, and if there is any interest in something being organised, ever?

My '73 Beetle's hyperdrive will be fixed next Tuesday, any time after that and I'm in.  Anyone need a ride?
