I like qnx as well but i found thew same problem not much software where beos has tons of software .
I once had an amigaone xe but sold it .

yeah, amigamad, it's kind of a shame that for users wanting an alternative desktop that most of the software for QNX is developer-oriented and mainly for the purpose of developing non-desktop products. I can't fault QNX for not having pursued the desktop any further down into the Amiga community black hole though.

What happened with BEOS was another one of the tragedies for those wanting desktop alternatives. We'll see what happens with the spin-off efforts, Genesi is working to get at least one of those happening on Peg.

So far QNX seems to be exactly what I want, and the lack of SW doesn't really bother me. I can do everything that I need to do with it, and I can do it faster and less painfully than with windows. Now I just have to learn to speak *nix-speak :lol:

It's a keeper :-)

BTW: What are/where can I find the final specs for Peg II?
