keyboards
« on: June 17, 2010, 03:58:13 AM »
I need to replace the keyboard on my A1200. I was wondering if I could use a UK, Danish A1200 keyboard and use the keys from the US keyboard I currently have. Or is it just not that simple of a swap.

Thanks for any info.

Hi haywirepc.
Its just a simple swap.

You only have to tell the 'Amiga OS' what keyboard you are using.

i ended-up fitting a A500 keyboard which i find works better when it comes to using multi-key press.

Delshay,

I have a 500 keyboard but the connector for it is not the ribbon connector like the 1200. How did you do the connection?
