try this program if you need 'undelete':
http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/TestDisk_Downloadit can retrieve pfs3 files!
sadly there is no Amiga version (or so it seems), but all you have to do is connect hdd to pc.
or maybe run it under linux on amiga..
