A4000D Rebuild
« on: March 21, 2010, 03:28:32 PM »
Hi

I have just uploaded a page of images of what happened
when I tried to rebuild the A4000d I recently acquired.
There are basically two issues, one with the mouse and
the other with memory...

If you want to offer suggestions I would obviously be very
grateful.

I also updated the blog and have 25% of the next update in
terms of photography complete.

A new idea this time is supersized images, though I am struggling
with the new camera... New fangled technology !! :-)

Chances are the reason the mouse isn't working is due to bugg0red caps.
Have you checked them out for any leaks or odd signs?

About the mouse, the buttons work but the movement doesn't?  Is it intermittant or no movement at all?  Is it an original roller-ball type or a modern optical with an adaptor?
