SimpleStereo v3 and IO-Board (Atari 8-bit)
« on: March 23, 2010, 05:03:00 AM »
I am very sorry, this is related to a Jay Minor project, but not Amiga. I'm not sure where to post this, but I know a lot of Amiga owners are also Atari 8-Bit fanatics considering that it's the Amiga's older Sister and all. :)

Anyhow, Candle over at Atariage.com would like for anyone who is interested in a SimpleStereo v3 or IO-Board , to say as much in this thread so that he can begin taking orders.

The Simple Stereo board, it allows you to have 2 Pokey chips and therefore Stereo Sound, on top of that there is a built in Covox so that you can use 8-bit samples in supported Atari Music programs (very cool!), and on top of all that, it also allows you to use a PC or Atari 16-bit keyboard on your Atari, amongst other things.

The IO-Board is explained here:

If you are interested in expanding your Atari, or are a Musician, this would be the ultimate investment!

Earth has a lot of things other folks might want... like the whole planet. And maybe these folks would like a few changes made, like more carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and room for their way of life. - William S. Burroughs
