DMAC question

Is teh DMAC chip used in a 2091 the same DMAC as the one in the A3000, are they interchangable?

hi,
   I was just experiemnting with dmacs from the 2091 in a 3000. they seem to not work right,it wont damage anything, but the dmac in the 3000 has a DMAC-81 in the part number, and the 2091 has a DMAC-65  ,i had no luck, but if you have luck let us know.Both are rev. 2 dmac chips tho.
