@tension

Many people called ir svhs for unknow reason (including me sometimes) but vhs and svhs videos have scart and scart have more quality than s-video.

@dylucke

On my cd32 super stardust boot but just work the directional buttons and red button on the pad.

Most VCRs produce composite signals, even though they have the full scart connector, RGB pins are not used.

In that case, SVHS gives a better picture if used with a SVHS (S-video) cable.

The WSI device makes some CD32 games not to boot on my CD32, it seems it
eats some RAM, so certain games like Super Stardust won't boot at all.

It's a pity. At the same time i've found the WSI won't make the CD32 a fully A1200
compatible device. Some floppy A1200 games won't work either.

This device is cetainly useful, and provides an average A1200 floppy compatibility,
but... IT SHOULD HAD A FARGING SWITCH TO TURN IT OFF.

However, is there any way to replace the RTC card into the WSI for some kind
of hand-made RAM-IDE card?

Cheers.

Yeah, and when it is pluged don´t let the CD32 Pad to work as is, only two buttons works, so you can play many CD32 titiles when this device is plugged ... ANY FIX FOR THIS???

And yeah, if you refer to the DB15 Port, It´s used for video scart and I have the cable.
...

Sorry to disappoint but that's not a Video port.
As I'm sure everyone has realised by now this IS an RGB video port. I'm pretty sure that the designed meant it to be a VGA connector but put the wrong component on his schematic (15-pin D vs 15-pin DSub)

Should be very possible. All it would would require is someone with a CD32WSi to debug the pinout of the 184-pin connector using a Multimeter and a bit of sense. Once that is done the schematics and logic for a 68000 to DRAM interface is very simple and can be done using even some of the smallest PLDs.

I don't think it could be commercialised because we've no idea how many of these devices were ever produced.

Wow... I hope somebody can manage to make some kind of scheme.

Some ram could be useful for these games thatjust don't boot.
But i don't know if adding an IDE interface would be too much there.
