We are all well aware that Miami(DX) has been abandoned, and we all know the climate for so-called "abandonware." This is not such a discussion.
Back in the day we had to, and I did, jump through the MiamiRegister hoop to obtain a copy of origmiamisslusa.library from Noric Global, whereas the origmiamisslintl.library was (and still is) freely available online. As I recall, the central issue was non-exportable encryption contained within the USA library.
Is this still an issue? Is it still illegal (in terms of international or US law) to possess or distribute the USA library? If this is no longer the case, how easily may one acquire said object?
I have a legal right to possess it both by my residency and registration status of Miami (I have a key1 file, which had to be purchased, I just no longer have the complement keys.)
And before it is offered as a solution, AmiSSL, while it works wonderfully with IBrowse et al, will not work for my purposes.
