Ordered a Cyberpower PC Desktop 10 days ago from Tigerdirect. ATI Radeon 5870, Intel  i7 960 CPU, 6 GIGs RAM, BluRay Combo Drive, 1TB Drive, for under $2000. Should be able to handle Crysis!
OTOH, I am particularly interested in seeing what happens with Hyperion and the X1000. I've learned not to hold my breath over the past 16 years!

I need to replace my old 20" Intel iMac to give me a bit more Logic Pro performance. The newer model should do the trick.
