You must have three hands to solder like that.

Hi,

@Vlabguy1,

I usually have someone else hold the part in place on the board, that way if I burn a finger it will be someone elses. (My wife is really good at this and has had her fingers burnt several times, and no she is not blonde).

I have no idea what your talking about, so here is a doggy with a small pancake on his head.

There is no doubt that the components and wires I solder get very hot.  Sometimes to the point where my finger/s can't stand it but I ignore the pain as much as I can.

I always slab some some solder on one side first, re-heat and attach, then do the other side.  No fingertip burns, and no need for a 3rd hand. :)

Example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EWeAOemTY_E

(Not my vid, but the same technique as me)
Code 6502 asm or... DIE!!

[C64, C128, A500, A600, A1200, A3000, MBP+Mini, Efika/MOS2.1, Sam440 w/AOS4.1
