fdd problems
« on: December 22, 2009, 05:02:59 AM »
Hi!

Reassembling my a1200 into desktop after some years without use, my floppy drives dont work anymore, i try without hd and dont boot just three or four tipical clicks of autobooting, on wb df0: appears sometimes like df0:?????, after trying with three fdd´s in my two a1200 mobos (commodore and escom) two of them without very use in the past with the sae results.

Anyone with same problems or with experience with it?

On amigakit i found this: http://amigakit.leamancomputing.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=29&products_id=276

Maybe this can be usefull or just the same as ever?

Thanks and merry xmas!

Not very helpfull
You'll have to open the drive and clean the old grease that ""lock"" the head
