ProTracker - Save Modules with correct bpm?
« on: November 14, 2003, 11:19:32 AM »
Hi all

I use WinUAE and got my most loved Soft back...
PROTRACKER!  :-D
Now i even found "ModPlug" to convert the mods into wav-files. But i don't get the right speed (bpm).
I really hope that i'm just to dumb to save it correct out of Protracker. :-(
Does anyone know, how to save mod-files with correct BeatsPerMinute-Settings? :-?

Thanx and greetz

To save the right BPM you have to insert the BPM in the first line of the first pattern, you have to insert command in the same place where yoiu edit volume, pitch etc.
For ModPlug
In the first line " 00 ",right clik(mouse) and set tempo options and tempo speed.

With Protracker,Octamed etc. it's the same but you have to insert input with your hands and not with mouse.

Must sound better than the way I do it, recording to tape via phono sockets and then into my Mac via the mic/line in socket and a personal stereo cassette player.

If you had Acid for the PC you could time stretch an audio file to whatever BPM you require. Bit of a long way round and unless you can save on demo versions, more expensive. :-D
