Am I Missing Something Simple / Buffer Size
« on: November 30, 2009, 03:53:02 PM »
I must be missing something simple.  I am setting up a hard-drive with two partitions and the HDInstall program won't let me change the buffer size on the partition.  It is set at 30 and no matter what I change it to it stays at 30.  I change the buffer number to 200, then hit OK to go back to the previous menu to save the change, and it shows no change to the drive and when I hit the partition button the buffer size is back to 30.  Any help would be appreciated.  I have done this before and don't recall ever having this problem.

Thank-You Thomas!  That was exactly what I was doing wrong.  I knew it had to be something simple (Stupid).

Actually it's the program (or the programmer) who is (or was) stupid, not you.
