A couple years ago, I snagged a SCSI-to-IDE adapter for my old Mac Quadra 950.  I wonder if I could go SCSI-to-IDE-to-CF in my Amiga 2000?  I don't see any reason why not, but I'd be curious if anyone here has tried such a thing...

@Huxley_D: you'll be fine. Only real snafu would like in the termination of the SCSI chain or powering the CF card adapter. Make sure that puppy has +5 going to it! Usually has a floppy power connector directly on board...

Yes sir, I am running my Amiga 2000 with a SCSI to IDE to CF card setup and it runs mighty fine!
