Hi All,
I'm having problems with the SPATCH utility that I d/led from Aminet. It's not the real one, but a reverse-engineered one, I guess. I installed the spatch.68k as spatch in my "c" directory (for commands) and then tried to update my workbench.library with the OS39 updates (2 of them) that I also d/led from Aminet. This is what I typed into the CLI & what happened:
10.Workbench:> spatch -oram:new_workbench.library -pRAM:wblib.pch LIBS:workbench.library
spatch: wrong number of arguments
10.Workbench:> why
Last command failed because : wrong number of arguments
10.Workbench:>
What am I doing wrong?

- ALSO -
My other problem is that I've got a legitimate copy of SAS/C ver. 6.50 that I bought years ago & has been pretty much sitting around going nowhere with it.
Well, I tried to install it because it has SPATCH on it, but my disk # 2 is corrupt! I can't remember where I bought it from, either. Is there someplace where I can find it online? All I really need is disk # 2 because all my other installation disks are OK.
- ONE LAST QUESTION -
Why isn't the real SPATCH uploaded to Aminet anyways? It clearly states in the SAS/C user manual in Chapter 10, page 292 that: "Note: You cannot distribute copies of scompare or any other utility, except spatch, that is included in the SAS/C Development System. The patch file that you create using scompare and the spatch utility are both freely redistributable."
