Hi,

I have downloaded a program so that I can change some icons I do not like in my setup. However I was now going to try and wright a script so that I can change several icons with a single click. Therefore I was wondering how can I change an icon from CLI? Is it even possible?

not that easy and usually with bad results.

 Just select more than one icon holding the shift key.

Which program are you using to change the icon?
Maybe the program can be executed from the CLI too.
Run the program from CLI, for example "c:copyicon ?"
Because of the "?" parameter the program will return the CLI parameters to change the icon.

Have you tried the "Copy" command?

Copy [FROM] source.info [TO] target.info

ought to do the sort of thing... no?

MozzerFan you where right :) CopyIcon works great from CLI!! I have already replaced some icons with it. Infact I think it is better then the GUI one I have :)

I thought of that one; however wouldn't that one also copy the information from the source icon? If so then I would have problems to replace icons for tools such as HDToolBox etc.

I tried using copy icon and this one has flags so that only the icon image is replaced while leaving the information of the original icon intact.
