BTW.. I checked on bplan's website for the smartfirmware updates for the pegasos.. it's not available anymore, is it? Wonder if anyone has the latest version...

What is wrong with the version you have?

It seems to be quite outdated... (2002).  Newer versions would probably fix a lot of issues but I don't know 'cause I don't have them. It looks like the original owner didn't upgrade it...

The mobo is version 2B1... which, afaik is one of the older (if not the oldest) revisions of the Peg II...

Outdated? perhaps... but no more than the hardware. Fix or cause issues, sure. Some versions are merely updates for newer revision boards, and probably wouldn't even apply to yours. But hey.. do as you see fit, maybe a newer version could give you some issues to enjoy.

OK, ended up buying this one:

Silverstone SST-LC13B-E (black) Home Theater HTPC Case...

Now the room is full with mostly white Amiga's and now a black Pegasos II! :D

The case is a bit bigger than needed, but very nice.. very well made, good materials, roomy and it has great looking.

Thanks everybody for your suggestions.

Cheers,
