@matt3k

I'm now using it as a loud paging PA thru the same speakers.  Although there's a nice proggy to run MP3-layer2 taking 1/3 the cpu load, but I can't record any long sound without any dropouts.  :-(

Fake crash requester was on delfina.library until version 4.14. Later ones don't have it anymore, but even the latest beta libraries tend to hang with Lite sooner or later when using DSP. Best solution for Lite is to use patched libraries from Smack. They don't have fake crash or "real" crashes either :)
I don't remember any installation to be cryptic in any way..

Unfortunately Smack lost his hd etc, so they're not available from him anymore I think, but at least for a while they're available at http://jpv.wmhost.com/delflib_patch_2.lzx

You should go for DelfinaDSP.. Then you can play MP3 songs thru its DSP cpu, .. and also use it for DivX playing and more.

DelfMPEG is a standalone player
Amplifier supports it thru delfinampeg.device
+++

Go for DelfinaDSP. And to say, Zorro is the most secure sound slot system ever made. There is no soundleaks like with Soundblaster for example and other PCI soundcards.

To be more exact, you can play mp3 songs with all models of Delfina (including Delfina DSP, Delfina 1200, Delfina Lite, Delfina Plus and Delfina Flipper) since they all have DSP on board.

And in addition to those players listed above, mhimdev.library is a wrapper that allows you to use MHI compatible players (like AmigaAMP) with Delfina's hardware decoding. In DivX/mpeg decoding you can only decode the sound with hw, not the video.
