More expensive in the short term, but a Deneb also offers you access to lots of cheap USB peripherals. Such as a sound card for AHI compatibility and cheap USB->SATA external hard drives etc. etc. PLUS it also has a KickFlash equivalent allowing you to fast-boot to OS3.9 without reboots and store drivers otherwise missing from Kickstart (boot from CD-ROM for example!)
While I am not a fan of native Amiga USB, if you HAVE to have networking then it should be at the top of your list ahead of Zorro II network cards. (Unless you can find a bargain!)
Talking of bargains, you can usually bag a hydra Amiganet card very cheaply cos they do not have 10-base T connectors on them. But you can get an AUI->10BaseT adapter (transceiver) for next to nothing on eBay.
