scsi issue with the FastlaneZIII
I have a FastlaneZIII v2.2 with 64mg ram installed into an A3000D. While waiting for the updated ROM to arrive and attempt to get the system to boot with a HD attached to the internal scsi header (results in the system not booting at all), I reconfigured my scsi chain of a CDROM and ZIP100 drive from the A3000D external scsi port to the FastlaneZIII external scsi port. Changed the device driver for the ZipDrive to z3scsi.device. Didn't mess with the cd configuration though. The A3000D booted! wo0t! The Fastlane scsi utility recognized both devices. I assume the z3scsi.device is embedded in the rom as I couldn't find it in the supplied ZIII install software. However, upon attempting to read a Zip disk, the system hung.

My original intention was to get an exteranl scsi box from the FastlaneZIII to house a CD burner and an audio harddrive to be used in conjuction with the AD516 sound card that is waiting to be installed. If this arrangment doesn't work out, I'll be pulling the Fastlane out of the A3000D (seems like a waste to have it just for the ram) and rigging up an external header from the WarpEngine and suffer with only 64 megs of ram. The Fastlane will then be installed into the A4000VTFlyer system, after removing the TBCIV...
