SpeedLink Competition Pro joystick under Windows
« on: July 09, 2009, 04:10:24 PM »
Hi,

I'm eventually planning to get myself a decent joystick for UAE.  But the description says it is supported under Windows XP and below.

I just installed Windows 7 rc, pretty much similar to Vista.  Anybody has any experience with this very joystick under any of those?
Was: Mac Mini PPC running MorphOS 2.4
Now: Amiga Forever 2010 with AmiKit and AmigaSYS
Not used: Icaros Desktop 1.2 (reason: no wifi)
Planned soon: an OS4 system
Shortly then: a MOS notebook (wifi is a must-have)

Yeah, it's a piece of crap (blue/silver one at least). It feels like moving a stick set in concrete about. But I see no reason why it wouldn't work in W7.
