we have the freedom of speech and everything guys, viva la democracy but come on... Lets see PC users slag each other off.

its quite funny when the whole future of any development of any amiga platform is still up in the air and dependant on people actually supporting the platform.
hey say whats bad about it so that it can get fixed and then it wont be bad anymore... its simple... find whats wrong, discuss it, then hopefully try and fix it..
the problem is that the loop seems to go like this:
find something thats wrong, discuss it, then insult anyone that still uses anything that has any flaws or doesnt use the same exact version of the amiga that you do.

people giving things bad reviews is different, reviewing some software or hardware at 30% isnt a bad thing, if you actually say whats wrong with it, and why that its wrong and then hopefully the developers will actually see this and say "hey we better fix that"
trust me, noone makes something bad on purpose, any constructive criticism is always appreciated. it makes the product better and increases sales, so commercially and for end users everyones happy.

What is quite funny is that Doomy gets away with this crap.  Basically conveying that someone is a MORON because they choose to use an A600 or A1200.  It's just plain RUDE and when he posts something to deliberately insult someone for the choice of computer they use then he should Moderated.

If he was in here saying that people were morons because they used the Inferior PEG instead of his Professional AmigaOne, then you bet your @ss he'd be moderated.  I don't see how this is different from what he gets away with now.

Then to top it all off, after listening to his demeaning posts, it turns out he's just a big Hypocrite!  Saying in one place how wonderful the A600 and A1200 are, then INSULTING people on this website for owning one!

While I might agree with you somewhat there I want it clear to everyone that what I was trying to convey is that hopefully people would be Moderated either way for insulting someone for the choice of computer they use.  Doesn't matter which way it goes either.

If you're insulting someone and you keep doing it repeatedly, wether it be,
 
'My Peg is better than your AmigaOne so you're a MORON'

or 'My AmigaOne is better than your PEG so you're a MORON'

or for saying 'My A2000 is better than your A1200 so you're a MORON."

that at some point someone that runs the site needs to say something to this person.  Either directly or through moderating them.

The fact is that anybody who says that their computer is better than someone else?s must desperately feel their computer is inadequate. Everybody has their own reasons for their choice of hardware and that should be it, end of debate.

Whether you choose your computer for its performance, build quality, price or just because you thought it was cool; it really doesn?t matter as long as you like it that?s all that matters.

Stop being nobheads.
