So,  how do I actually install a particular game on my hard drive.  Do I first need to adf2disk then install back to hard drive with the installer?  Thanks.

When I try to install "WHDLoad", I get the following error message:  Unable to open your tool 'installer'.

Is anybody aware of this message?  What is the installer tool and how do I get it?  Thanks.

Again, it depends on the installer. Some of the newer ones can install directly from disk images, but for the most part you'll need real (original, non-cracked) disks. Some cracked versions are supported for commercial games that were subsequently released as freeware, but not many.

Mounting ADF files with diskimage.device can get you around the real disk challenge in cases where installation is a simple file copy. NDOS disks need to be ripped, so it's originals-only for them.

Put the file 'Installer' in SYS:Utilities and/or C:
