Elephant 1.1 for MorphOS
« on: September 11, 2008, 08:30:08 PM »
Christian "tokai" Rosentreter has released Elephant 1.1, demonstration of the MorphOS state-of-the-art hardware compositing engine (included since MorphOS 2.0).

Screenshot, approx 400KB

Download: elephant-1.1.lha

NOTE: The application works without the composition engine being enabled, too, but for the best visuals boot with the '3D' option.

Dude, that's just too cool!  Makes me want to drag my PegII out of storage and upgrade it from MOS 1.4.5 to 2.1.

well, it's not "useless"...it's proof of concept

but aside from cute animals on your screen, there's not anything else you can do with it...that I'm aware of, anyway.

you could reinact hanibal's treak across the alps, maybe    :-D

Looks good.  If only they could make Ambient skins look like that.
