AmigaSYS has existed for 4 years, and I've been doing it alone for the last 3 years, all versions of it and the website, grafix , install etc ALL. Check out the list of supporters, just 3 people! (4 YEAR!= 3 user)

Just like you, I have some expectations... I'm not expecting huge donations, just some sort of sign that there's some interest in this project. Right now there's no sign of that.

If it goes on like this, I'm going to shut down the project, as it seems nobody cares about it anyway...

I care about AmigaSYS and the Amiga in general.  Please don't give up on it because of 1 guy with bad manners!

I have been to the AmigaSYS website many times and those tiny little donation requests did not bother me at all.

If you don't like his website and it really annoys you that much then please do not ever go there again.  Thank you.

The producer of Amikit popularized the idea of asking for donations for Amiga Distros.  AmigaSYS is just copying Amikit in this regard.

not copy, for one a man this much work/time (web,grafix,scripts,installs,etcetcetc) , I do it with pleasure , you favour me and AmigaSYS with the support, would show in this manner , for who is how to make.

a man works on all of them with a bigger joy if this sees it as something else good.

not trouble , if he is somebody calls in , may not overwrite my decisions.

The development continues, but the AmigaSYS he has future in the users' hand. Not for myself, but I do it for you's...I did not ask too much after 4 years according to me.

Well, AmigaSYS (with WB3.1 disks) does the job congratz!

some things that are very well done:

-64 colours and the wb still fast.
-my cd/dvd was correctly found.
-the presentation is top. If i want to show my amiga to someone, ill show it working with amigasys.

some things to make it perfect:

-How do i remove/ hide some disk icons from workbench screen? I have at least 2 partitions that are from my own Workbench. I also like to remove the ram-disk icon.
-How do i put all the aplications run centered?
-My Harddrive light is always on. Is this a problem?
-Does AmigaSYS come with some left-handed/ mouse button switcher utility?
-Whenever i start IBrowse, it says to me to create 2 directories. Will they be created permanent on disk?
-I dont have clock battery. So the calendar is not needed. Do you have some idea of something to put there instead of the clock?

HD is busy or only lighting ? does it always or only the dvd mount ?

So how does this compare to the classic wb packs by Bloodwych. They gave new life to my amiga computing i upgraded every amiga i have with it in stead of the bloated os 3.9 i used before.

I would definitly try this too but unsure how it is compared .Anyone that have compared strenghts and lesser strong points in both ?. Anyways great work  Dary  :-o  :-o

Ok I'm very confused with the installation instructions. I would love to try this out on my A1200 which has BPPC603e+ @ 060 + Bvision. I have currently installed OS3.9 on a 2GB flash card. Why would I need to use WinUAE for the installation? Why can't it be done directly in my A1200 or did I miss a part in the instructions?

Hi i tried it today . You have to install the system in winuae and then simply copy it in to the amiga hard drive but i would assume you can just put the install files on to a amigahd and boot from there and no need to copy it two times . I did not try this though but it may work
