There is no popup ad from my side. There is a JavaScript from the counter to get some stats. This counter is used on millions of webpages. Seems nobody has any problems with that except you. Disable JavaScript or block popups and you will be fine.

If your Windows crashes of this script its more a fault of your system.

There are no popups on that page.

I'd recommend you scan your system with Ad-Aware and Spybot before throwing accusations of malicious popups.

Actually, there was a popup on there when I went a few days ago to register.

I can't remember what it was, but it was a small one, about the size of this box I'm typing in now.
