The Labyrinth of Time Released as Free Download
« on: May 25, 2005, 05:22:26 AM »
The Wyrmkeep Entertainment Co. has released the Amiga version of the adventure game The Labyrinth of Time as a free download.

Information can be found on the Amiga Support page for the game.

The game is also available on CD-ROM (in case a 170MB download is a bit much). There are also versions for Linux, Mac OS X, and Windows.

Is this actually any good?  I would be mightily disappointed if it turns out to be a shoddily drawn point n click with no storyline etc.  If it's anything like Simon The Sorcerer it might be worth a bash.

the game is a mix of MYST style and something else.... anyway the gfx is certainly not as good as they could have been but anyway nice to see they released it for free after all theese years.
Whats up with all the hate!

Don't bother with the lha archive. It fails to unpack about halfway through with a CRC error.
I sold my Amiga for a small fortune, but a part of my soul went with it.

Sorry for the problems people have experienced downloading the game. All we can say is "D'oh!"

We have added  two mirror sites from which to download a proper (non-corrupt) archive which we hope will alleviate some problems.
