Maybe it was mostly newer Amiga owners who didn't remember how impressive Shadow Of The Beast looked - and on a non-expanded A500 yet!

@RacerX: Maybe it's just because SOTB was a crappy game with nice graphics? But anyway this list is updated each month and it does see some changes now and then. There aren't many of course as not many new games come out and I have a feeling it's more or less the same people who vote each time.

If you had to sum it up in one word, "frustrating" might be a good choice.  It was a VERY difficult game and had no 'saves' or 'continues'.  As I recall it also took a long time before you could play again after you 'died'  It was a 2 disk game that did not support a second floppy drive.

Still, it was still impressive what they could do with a 'stock' A500.
