The man who invented the first IC turns 80 years old today ... without him we wouldn't even have a simple calculator.

He sure knew what he was diong the amount of electronic devices that woul not have been made with out itergrated circuits is massive. :-)

wow!!! Two transistors in a Chip 2cm (square), it certainly puts the latest 50million transistor chips in 1 cm (square) into perspective!!! :-D
