CMD product line back in production.
« on: May 21, 2003, 05:18:42 PM »
Amiga's younger sibblings just got a new boost! Click Here Software finally posted their price list (5/20/03) for their new production CMD products.

Click Here Software purchased the rights to produce and sell CMD's line of products after CMD left the Commodore market a few years ago.

Click Here Software is best known for it's flagship Wheels operating systen for the Commodore 64 and 128 which is an official update to the well known Geos.

CMD is best known for it's full product line including hardware (Super CPU accelerators , harddrives, Ramdrives etc) and software(JoffyDOS etc).

Someone has to state the obvious and that someone is me!

I always drooled over CMDs product line but the sticker shock was waay too much for me:-( It looks as if Maurice is doing a little better on the prices. I may just have to make some purchases.

I need more rooms, I need a room just for computers.. May be time to kick out my tenant and reclaim that apartment;-)

@Xand

I wouldn't be too hard on Maurice, you've got to figure the volume of product is probably piece by piece:-( I too wish he could have dropped the price a little more, but such is life.

He actually does them piece by piece last I heard. I think it's really cool that he's still doing this stuff.
After my kids are done with college, I'm getting a SuperCPU for my 128 (2 down, 1 to go).
SunBlade 1000 2x1200mhz UltraSparc III+, 8GB RAM, XVR1000, 73GB and 300GB FC drives, DVD, SunPCi IIIpro - 1GB RAM (yes it does work when I set the clock back to 2009), Solaris 10.

A1200T, 603e-240mhz/040-50mhz SCSI, 256mb, MediatorSX, Voodoo3-3000, Soundblaster 128, 10/100 Ethernet, other stuff OS3.9

I'd really like to see is PCI/PPC for the
128...Bard's Tale 3 in true - color...and
maybe a version of UAE for the 128..:P... :)
