Geoff Crammond Announces Stunt Car Racer Pro!

As we've all been asking for over the years, I guess someone listened....  Geoff Crammond has announced Stunt Car Racer Pro will be future title!  

"Lost Toys" will be in on the development cycle, and they have more info in their press release.  There are no specific mention of platforms, but Lost Toys are supposedly heavy into cross-platform development, so who knows what all we may see it available for!

The first time I saw this game I couldn't believe my eyes.   Even the crack intro was good.  I went out and bought the game I was that impressed.  Still have the box in the loft!

Hopefully, unlike Grand Prix 2 and 3, let's hope they can design the next version of Stunt Car Racer with some proper hardware acceleration!

Grand Prix 3.  What a great game.  Frame limit to 25FPS, looks like it's being software rendered... that it's even comparable to the Amiga GP1 version, despite the fact it's coming up for being ten years newer, is a scary thought.

Shame there will be no amiga version i used to play sunt car racer on a zx spectrum 48 k and my old amiga 500 very good game . :-D  :-)

We have GOT to do what we can to make this happen. Imagine the ad campaign now stating, Stunt Car Racar Pro, Available for PC-CDROM, X-Box, PS2, . . . . etc & AmigaOne.

Anyone that doesn't know by that time would drop their jaw saying, 'I remember the first one on the Amiga! What's the AmigaOne?'

SCR is one of the best games ever made. It completely follows Nolan Bushnell's famous magical formula for a great game "Easy to pick up, difficult to master". Just brilliant.

I can't wait to see the pro version :-D

Excellent!!  SCR is still one of my favorite games.  A new version is going to be very cool!  :-)
