New Hollywood screenshots
« on: December 31, 2002, 01:00:01 PM »
As some people did not know that Hollywood  is also able to import the popular Rainboot boot configuration file format, I have put up some screenshots in the Hollywood section which show Hollywood running Rainboot configurations. This gives you real Rainboot feeling on your Workbench. The screenshots show the boot configurations Alien Boot, AmigaOS 3.5 Boot, CloudBoot, PCommBoot, Pixel Art Boot & Windows Simulator Boot. Finally, I wish all Amiga users and all my friends a happy new year!

This product is quietly evolving into one of the killer applications that the next generation of Amiga systems so desperately needs.

To get there, a few essentials are worth considering for a 'professional' edition:

1. Import/export support for Microsoft PowerPoint. Let's face it, it's a Windows' world. Filter source is available as part of the Open Office distribution. Obviously there will be a delta in feature support.

2. A freely-available runtime player for the Amiga and (resource permitting) Windows, Linux, Mac and Java. People will naturally want to design their presentations and target different systems for deployment. Standalone demos would also be much more convincing than screenshots.

3. A Scala/Newtek inspired GUI. This formula has been universally successful. Users want a polished environment that looks like a video editing studio rather than a desktop utility.

Just some thoughts... great stuff so far!

Nice screen shots… just hope that some of those design concepts makes it to AmigaOS4.0.

PowerPoint support would be nice (for corporate and online education environments (i.e. some materials presented in PPT)).
